This week, they rounded out their statewide road trip by visiting Maricopa County, and providing its Board with important information involving the issues most prevalent to the counties, as well as the different functions CSA serves. Staff had a great time visiting all 15 counties, and can't wait to do it again next interim!

Energy & Data Center Learning Series: Developing Energy Siting Ordinances
CSA in partnership with Local First hosted their third installment of their Energy and Data Center Learning Series. This week, the discussion was focused on zoning for large-scale solar, wind, battery energy storage, and data centers, as well as local ordinances for solar and storage. Attendees were able to hear presentations from both David Morley, AICP, American Planning Association and Natale Manitius, Manager of Clean Energy Infrastructure Deployment with Clean Air Task Force.
These Learning Series meetings are a great opportunity to get some of your most pressing energy and data center questions answered, and we look forward to the next meeting, which will be October 22nd!
